Fitness is important at every age. The YMCA of Northern BC is delighted to offer specialized programs for those of you who are young at heart and want a body to match!

Celebrate movement in a fun and supportive environment that is designed to increase strength, vitality and connection with others. This program is designed to provide a gentle progression of low risk exercise to those with arthritis, osteoporosis or adapting to chronic disorders. All participants must receive medical clearance to a gentle exercise program prior to involvement.

Minds in Motion
In partnership with the Alzheimer's Society. Minds in Motion™ is designed for people diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease or a related dementia and a friend, family member or caregiver. After the exercise portion, we will play games and enjoy social time with light refreshments in a relaxed atmosphere.
